Over 100k unemployed KZN youth set to benefit from new project

KwaZulu-Natal Premier Sihle Zikalala says a new property development project in Ilembe will give the youth an opportunity to rebuild their lives.
It's also a win for the economy, he believes.
"This will be the biggest resort in southern Africa, it will see the employment of many people more than 100 000 at a construction level."
Zikalala was speaking at the launch of a partnership between local government and the eLan Foundation in Ballito on Wednesday night.

He said the multi-million-rand training and skills development project is aimed at preparing young people for the job market and entrepreneurship opportunities.
"But also it is going to yield more business opportunities for SMMEs."
Fisokuhle Nodolo, who is a beneficiary from Stanger, said the initiative has given him renewed hope.
"It's giving me more energy to keep on pushing to keep on hustling because we can't sit and wait for government to come to us we need to hustle, so it's a great platform for me."
