NSRI warns of rough sea conditions
Updated | By Jarryd Subroyen
Beachgoers and anglers are being warned of rough sea conditions over the coming days.

The National Sea Rescue Institute is urging beachgoers to be extra cautious near the water, as the Full Moon Spring Tide is expected to peak later tonight.
Rough sea conditions brought in by a cold front and high wind speeds will also make for unfavourable and rough sea conditions along the coast.
NSRI spokesperson, Craig Lambinon says the rough sea conditions and powerful rip currents could last several days.
"We are urging the public to be safe and cautious around the coastline, especially anglers fishing from the shoreline and those walking along the beach or coastal paths," he said.
Lambinon says the rough sea conditions are expected to last into the coming weekend.
The Full Moon Spring Tide will usher in higher than normal high tides, and lower than normal low tides.
