Nomusa Dube-Ncube chosen as ANC’s candidate for KZN premier

Nomusa Dube-Ncube has been confirmed as the ANC in KwaZulu-Natal's premier nominee.

ANC provincial secretary Bhekinkosi Mtolo made the announcement on Monday morning at the party's provincial headquarters.
"Today it is our great pleasure to announce to you comrade Nomusa Dube-Ncube has the premier nominee.
"She is not new in the leadership position as she previously served in various positions in the organisation and in government."

Dube-Ncube, who's the province's Finance MEC, will be the first woman premier in the province's history.
Outgoing premier Sihle Zikalala announced he is stepping down last week after an unsuccessful bid to be re-elected KZN ANC chairperson.
