No injuries in Durban tar factory blaze

Ethekwini fire fighters managed to contain a massive blaze that gutted a tar manufacturing company in the Hillary area on Saturday.

Plumes of dark smoke filled the air  in the afternoon, when the fire broke out on Berwyn Road.

Garrith Jamieson, who speaks for ALS Paramedics, says fortunately no injuries were reported from the scene.

 The cause of the fire will be investigated.
