LISTEN: No defence for Wits shooting Cele says
Updated | By Nothando Mkhize
Police Minister Bheki Cele has reacted to the death of a 35-year-old man who died after being shot during yesterday's student protest in Johannesburg.

"I can't explain it. It has no grain of explanation or defence on it. Somebody, for me, just went crazy, For now, the IPID is in the house."
Mthokozisi Ntumba had just left a clinic in Braamfontein when he was shot - apparently with rubber bullets.

Cele has visited the Ntumba family home in Kempton Park earlier today.
He says Ntumba was a young family man.
"He was working for Department of Human Settlement and he just got his Master's Degree. He is a father of three with a young wife. It's a sad situation."
