'No basis for Khoza's non-attendance': KZN ANC
Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
The disciplinary hearing of ANC MP, Makhosi Khoza is going ahead today. The ruling party says this is despite Khoza's public statement that she will not attend the Durban proceedings.

On Facebook this weekend, Khoza posted a copy of a letter she had sent to senior ANC members - notifying them of her intention to skip the hearing.
She called for its suspension after a Pietermaritzburg judge ruled that the 2015 ANC provincial conference and the decisions taken there were unlawful.

The ANC’s Mdumiseni Ntuli says Khoza is being summoned by the party as a whole and not the PEC.
"There are no basis in her saying she is not going to turn up for the hearing because of the Pietermaritzburg High Court. The court didn't say anything about the hearing that Makhozi is supposed to be attending. That court never disbanded or dissolved the provincial committee. It's something that isn't adding up in our view," he says.
Khoza’s accused of ill-discipline and bringing the party into disrepute following her public calls for President Jacob Zuma to step down.
