Night vigil in support of Malema
Members of the Economic Freedom Fighters held a night vigil at the Batho Community Hall in Bochabela in support of their Commander in Chief, Julius Malema last night.
Malema is expected to appear in the Bloemfontein Magistrate's Court this morning on charges of incitement in terms of the Riotous Assemblies Act of 1956.
The charge relates to comments the firebrand leader made during the party's elective conference in 2014 when
Malema encouraged supporters to occupy vacant land.Today's proceedings follows Malema's court appearance in the New Castle Magistrate's court last week.

He was charged with a similar offence for comments made at another gathering earlier this year.

The EFF has maintained that the law is outdated and that the call for land is legitimate.
"When people say we can no longer talk about the land and when they arrest our Commander in Chief, then they must arrest all of us," the EFF's Mbuyiseni Ndlozi told supporters at the night vigil.

Ndlozi says the EFF as a party is on trial tomorrow.

He added that it is the party and all its supporters who are on trial.
"It is all of us, who want land, that are on trial here," he said at the night vigil.
