LISTEN: Blacks are rightful owners of the land: Malema
Updated | By Anelisa Kubheka
EFF leader Julius Malema is unapologetic about his utterances on land.

He's told a crowd of supporters outside the Newcastle Magistrate's Court that no amount of intimidation will stop them from speaking out about land being given to the indigenous people of South Africa. He also claimed that he's not afraid of going to jail.

Malema appeared in court on Monday - accused of encouraging supporters to illegally occupy land on two occasions: in 2014 in Bloemfontein, and in June this year in Newcastle.
He's been charged under the Apartheid-era Riotous Assemblies Act.
Malema says the liberation struggle was formed because of the land issue.
He says the battle for land lies in the hands of the EFF.
The matter has been adjourned to December 7.
