A woman who was allegedly planning to order a hit on her Durban aunt has been arrested.
The 43-year-old was nabbed at her home in an estate in Pretoria on Friday during an intelligence-driven operation.
It involved KZN Crime Intelligence, eThekwini Central Crime Intelligence, and the KZN Organised Crime and Electronic Surveillance Unit.
KZN police spokesperson, Robert Netshiunda says they received word that the woman was looking for the services of a hitman.

Netshiunda says a sting operation was set in motion.
"The woman, who had agreed to pay R20 000 for the life of her aunt, had already deposited half of the amount to an undercover police officer when she was nabbed at her estate home in Pretoria.
"She had agreed to a deal that the balance would be paid after the job was done.
"During the investigation, the aunt, who resides in Verulam, was put under witness protection for maximum security. Police are also closing in on suspect’s sister, whose role in the conspiracy was to provide the supposed hitman with the photograph of the hit target."
Netshiunda says the motive for the alleged planned hit is unknown.
