Last week's double murder on Durban's Suncoast Beach has been changed to a murder-suicide, police have confirmed.
The bodies of Kresan Chandiah, 24, and Fatima Muhammad, 50, were found on the beach's dunes last Monday morning.
They were found with stab wounds to the chest by a man collecting plastic and paper in the area.

"So they are now investigating an inquest as well as a murder. This is as a result of evidence that has been gathered during the course of the investigation as well as the post-mortem that was conducted last week," he said.
