N3 traffic volumes to increase this weekend
The N3 Toll Concession says traffic volumes are about to rise significantly between Cedara and Heidelberg, as we enter the weekend before Christmas.
Spokesperson Thania Dhoogra says holiday traffic on the national route is set to peak this afternoon.
She's appealed for patience and caution from motorists on what's expected to be one of busiest days on the N3 - during the festive period.

"Preparing in advance for long distance trips, familiarising oneself with the planned route, managing one’s expectations, making allowances for possible congestion and delays, and adopting defensive driving habits, allow drivers to remain patient and in control of their journeys, even when faced with unexpected events."
