N3 Toll Concession urges motorists to plan ahead
Updated | By Shaun Ryan
Traffic authorities are urging motorists travelling by road this festive season to plan their trips in advance.
The N3 Toll Concession - the body that manages the busy N3 freeway between Heidelberg in Gauteng and Cedara in the KZN Midlands - says holidaymakers must plan for any eventuality, including road closures.
Spokesperson, Con Roux says accidents and severe weather can result in significant delays.
"Anything is possible, so we do - at all times - caution motorists to please be prepared for any eventuality. That appliesparticularly to people with small children in the car. Make sure there are sufficient refreshments including water," he says.
