Mangosuthu University of Technology students have marched to the Durban High Court where judgement is being handed down in the Zolile Khumalo murder case.
Khumalo was shot dead at an off-campus residence nearly two years ago - allegedly by her ex-boyfriend, Thabani Mzolo.
The students, who held a prayer vigil last night, marched from the Lonsdale residence in Durban Central earlier where Khumalo was killed.
They picketed outside the court, calling for the harshest punishment.

"We hope for a very fair judgement and verdict at the end of the day," says a student who does not want to be named.
Another student adds: "I believe that what has happened to Zolile and many other ladies across the country is very wrong and the court should find severe punishment to these people are continuously damaging the reputation of men in our country."
Judgement in the case is continuing with proceedings set to carry over to tomorrow.
