Multiple weather warnings for KZN

Three level 2 warnings have been issued for parts of KwaZulu-Natal for Monday.

The South African Weather Service says Van Reenen’s Pass and southwestern parts including Kokstad, Underberg and Giants Castle can expect disruptive snowfall.
Forecaster Wisani Maluleke says a warning for damaging winds is in place for coastal areas.

He says northern regions like King Cetshwayo District will be hit by heavy rains which may lead to localised flooding.
"We are having standard showers and thundershowers, but it will be widespread in the extreme north-east where we have disruptive rainfall.
Tomorrow it seems to be moving away, although we are still expecting cold conditions in KwaZulu-Natal."
