Multi-car crash claims two lives in Nongoma

Two people have been killed in a multi-vehicle crash in Nongoma in northern KwaZulu-Natal.

Children, who were being transported to school in one of the three vehicles, were among those injured.
The Road Traffic Inspectorate's Zinhle Mali says a driver and a passenger were killed on the R66 on Monday morning.

"Seventeen others sustained serious injuries following a collision between two Polos and a bakkie.
"The bakkie was ferrying school children. The injured were taken to hospital. Two counts of culpable homicide in been investigated."
