Motshekga: Measures in place to prevent leaking of exam papers

Basic Education Minister Angie Motshekga says they've been working with provincial officials to make sure the matric finals run smoothly.

She briefed the media on her department's preparations for the National Senior Certificate exams on Sunday. 

 

Motshekga says Grade 12s will sit for big question papers from day one. 

 

The Class of 2022 is getting ready to write English Paper 1. 

 

Motshekga says pupils would've already completed some of the smaller question papers during the course of last week.

"We've been gradually increasing the number of full-time enrolment in 2022 compared to the previous years.”

 

She says the department has put all the necessary measures in place to prevent paper leaks.
