Motshekga to increase psycho-social support in schools
Updated | By Jacaranda FM News
Basic Education Minister, Angie Motshekga says they'll be growing psycho-social services in schools.

This follows the killing of 24-year-old Maths teacher, Gadimang Costa Mokolobate by a 17-year-old learner.
Mokolobate was stabbed last week at the Ramotshere Technical High School in the North West.
Motshekga says the boy is in custody.
"After stabbing the teacher, we were told he was overpowered by security and other learners and - got him arrested. So he is in custody. This SMS with all these fake circulating messages is believed to say - 'Mr. Mokolobate disrespected me and I don't take disrespect from anybody'.
"If its true that the boy said that - you can see that we are dealing with a very sick child. He could have been on drugs. This means its internal. He has a deeper, deeper problem," she said.
The minister will be visiting Mokolobate’s family this afternoon.
