Motorists to prepare for another fuel price hike
Updated | By Steve Bhengu
According to mid-month fuel data, South Africans are in for another fuel price increase next month.

Economist with Efficient Group, Dawie Roodt, says motorists can also expect to be dealt another blow in the form of inflation.
"We had quite a substantial increase in fuel last month and it doesn't look too good for this month either. I'm expecting another fuel price increase in the region between 80-cents and R1 a litre and that is going to add to upward pressure on the economy and that's certainly not good for the average consumer."
Meanwhile the Automobile Association says the movement of the exchange rate as well as international oil prices account for the likely increase in the petrol price.
