Another increase in fuel prices expected, in March
Updated | By Sandile Zikhali
South Africans will have to dig even deeper into their pockets from this Wednesday - with fuel prices expected to rise.
The Energy Department says petrol will increase by 74 cents a litre. Diesel will go up by 91 or 93 cents depending on the grade.
The department's Robert Maake says the increase in the international oil price is one of the main contributing factors behind the hike.
"The main reason for this fuel price hike is the higher crude oil price during the period under review compared to the previous period."
