Most murders reported in Inanda, Umlazi
Inanda and Umlazi have topped the list of police stations where the most number of murders were reported.
The police's head of crime research and stats, Norman Sekhukhune, presented the crime stats for the first quarter in the National Assembly on Friday morning.
Sekhukhune says 81 murders were reported in Inanda, while Umlazi reported 62 between April and June this year.

He says altercations and mob justice remain a concern.
"For arguments and misunderstanding, KwaZulu-Natal was the highest, with 255 of the murder attributable to arguments and misunderstandings.
"Vigilantism and mob justice - again, KwaZulu-Natal was the highest with 116."
