More unhappy Home Affairs customers speak out

People - frustrated with ongoing delays at Home Affairs - say there's a lack of care and urgency to get important documents processed.
Those queuing for help at the Umgeni Road offices have listed their concerns before the Deputy Minister, who paid the branch a surprise visit yesterday.
Njabulo Nzuza spoke to people standing in line and addressed management about the office's challenges.
This woman says she applied for her marriage certificate more than a year ago. She's still waiting for it.

"My mother-in-law has been following up for over a year and I've come here to try and chase it up but I'm not sure if I will have any luck. We live overseas and battle to get any documents through our Consulate so we have to come back to get documents that we require," he said.
Meanwhile this desperate mother, says she's been to Home Affairs four times to pick up her son's ID.
"We came at 5am in the morning and now we only got to here. It's still full inside - the queues are ridiculous and they don't move. There's no order."
