More than 400 businesses to head to court over civil unrest - ActionSA
ActionSA says 420 businesses have now signed a ground breaking lawsuit against the ANC and Cabinet.
Spokesperson for the party Lerato Ngobeni says the lawsuit is in response to the civil unrest that occurred in parts of South Africa last month.
Shops and malls in Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal were looted during the wave of violence, sparked by the jailing of former president Jacob Zuma.

“Our ground-breaking class action lawsuit against President Cyril Ramaphosa, the Minister of Police Bheki Cele, the members of the security cluster, and the ANC, amongst others, following last month’s looting and lawlessness that terrorised communities across the provinces of KZN and Gauteng.
“This exponential increase in the number of businesses signing up suggests that South Africans are gatvol with inaction, and politicians that do not serve them, and do not serve South Africa.
"They want to be part of processes that advance their interests, and not those of political parties, their bosses, or their benefactors.”
