More arrests made in the Sello Machitje murder case

Police have made a second arrest in connection with the murder of Water and Sanitation deputy-director Sello Machitje.

He went missing after an alleged hijacking and his body was discovered in an open field in Bekkersdal, Westonaria on Thursday.
The Department's spokesperson Wisane Mavasa says Machitje was traveling to the Eastern Cape on a work assignment when he disappeared.
As a department we convey our condolences to his family and loved ones as well as colleagues in the department."

"As a department we currently do not have any further details on the matter as it's been handled by law enforcement agencies," adds Mavasa.
They've urge law enforcement agencies to leave no stone unturned in finding those responsible for this heinous deed.
