Mkhwebane to take Section 194 report on review
Updated | By Sandile Bhengu
Suspended Public Protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane says she will be taking the Section 194 report on her competence on review.

Mkhwebane has been found guilty of misconduct ad incompetence following a parliamentary inquiry into her fitness to hold office.
The committee adopted its final report earlier this month.
It's recommended that Mkhwebane be permanently removed from office.
Her seven-year non-renewable term ends in October.
At a briefing in Midrand on Wednesday afternoon, Mkhwebane said she and her lawyers were still busy deciding how to go about their legal challenge.
"As I have always said in the process of fighting them, if I perish, I perish. The way forward in this matter is that deliberating with the legal team is still finalising the strategy on how we are proceeding with the issue of reviewing this report."
Meanwhile, a parliamentary ad hoc committee on Tuesday recommended acting Public Protector Kholeka Gcaleka as the preferred candidate for the office after holding interviews last week.
