Makhubele says 30-year-old Yende went missing two weeks ago, after reporting for work at Eskom.

"Her body was found in her office. So far we don't know the motive of the death but the post mortem will help us in solving this case," he says.

Makhubele says they found the woman in her office, which was locked.

"We failed to search for her in her office and later on we realised that her office was locked - that's when she was found," Makhubele says.

He says the police investigations are ongoing.

"We would like to pass our condolences to the family of the deceased as well as her colleagues who worked closely with her." he says.
