Missing Hibberdene baby found in Durban
Updated | By Bernadette Wolhuter
A South Coast baby that had been missing for more than a month has been found and a 21-year-old man has been arrested on charges of kidnapping the infant.
The now four-month-old boy disappeared from his sleeping mother's side at their home in Hibberdene, at the beginning of last month.
His mother told police she had two visitors staying over at the time and woke up to find her child - and her guests - all gone.

Police spokesperson Nqobile Gwala says Port Shepstone police officers were following up on information when they found the baby at a Durban home yesterday.
“They went to a house on Phungula Street, in Lamontville, where the baby was found. He was not in a good state and has been admitted to hospital,” Gwala says.
She says a 21-year-old suspect was arrested in Umlazi V Section.
“He is appearing today in the Umzumbe Magistrates’ Court on charges of kidnapping,” Gwala says.
She says the police are still searching for a second suspect.
