Mbalula to visit Glebelands

Police Minister, Fikile Mbalula is today set to visit the Umlazi hostel where more than 90 murders have been carried out in the past three years.
Glebelands is home to about 20 000 people.
The Hostel has taken centre stage at the Moerane Commission of Inquiry to date.
The inquiry is probing politically motivated violence in KZN.
At a previous sitting of the commission, it emerged that some of the province's most notorious hitmen live at the hostel.

More than 90 people have been killed at Glebelands since 2014 with no convictions secured.
Some arrests have been made in recent weeks - with suspects wanted for murder, the possession of unlicensed firearms and robbery netted by police.
Minister Mbalula is expected to brief the media later in the day.
