Moerane Commission to resume next month
Updated | By Steve Bhengu
Members of the Moerane Commission of Inquiry will spend the next few weeks mulling over the testimony people have shared in Pietermaritzburg and Durban.
The inquiry probing political violence in the province will resume on the 18th of September.
Members of the SA Local Government Association were among those who appeared before the commission this week.
The notorious Gleblands Hostel in Umlazi, south of Durban has been one of the main discussion points so far.
The commission has heard that more than 90 people have been killed there since 2014, without a single conviction being made. An activist described Gleblands as a haven to hit-men.
