A KwaZulu-Natal Midlands woman, who was bitten by a snake on her farm in the Dargle Valley area, has been discharged from hospital and is continuing to recover at home.

Dale Gibbins was bitten on her right ankle by a still yet to be identified snake at the weekend.
71-year-old Gibbins was taken to a hospital in Hilton in a serious condition and spent some time in the ICU.
She says most of the swelling has gone down. Gibbins believes the snake was a night adder.
