KZN Premier, Sihle Zikalala says 13 people, who tragically lost their lives in the Kilimon taxi crash, were members of the same family.
They were returning home when the vehicle left the road - between Underberg and Bulwer - and rolled down an embankment.
The Premier and Transport MEC yesterday visited the bereaved Mndali family and the scene of the horrific crash.
12 people - including a child - died on Saturday.
One of the three survivors who were critically hurt, passed away in hospital on Sunday.
Zikalala says the family's distraught.

"The deceased family members were travelling back home after attending a traditional ceremony where the minibus left the road and crashed at Kilimon between Underberg and Bulwer."

"It is believed that the driver lost control after failing to negotiate the bend," he said.
A case of culpable homicide was opened at Bulwer police station.
Zikalala says at least 106 people have been killed on KZN's roads since the country moved down to lockdown level one.
"Accidents have increased as we downscale to lower levels. There are 77 car crashes reported since 21 September to date. Some of the vehicles involved are high-carrying capacity vehicles, such as minibus taxis and high-impact vehicles such as trucks."
