Midlands couple's murder shocks community
Updated | By Puseletso Petersen
The Nottingham Road Landowners Association says community members are in shock following a brutal double murder in the area.

Roger and Christine Solik were attacked and taken from their home during a robbery at The Bend estate in the Midlands, on Friday.
Christine's body was found in a river near Impendle later that day. Roger's body was found yesterday - a few kilometres away from where his wife's body was recovered.

The association's Clive Foos says that they're alarmed by the tragedy - and will be working closely with police and security companies in the area - in a bid to solve the crime.
"As an association, we condemn this behaviour. We're extremely concerned about the way this took place. At this stage we have no idea who the involved people are," he said.

Police spokesperson, Nqobile Gwala, says the cause of Roger Solik's death is under investigation.
"The body that was recovered yesterday - there were no physical injuries or bruises. A post-mortem will determine the cause of death," she said.
