Metro Police warn against drunk driving

eThekwini's Metro Police have sent out a stern warning against drinking and driving over the long weekend.
The Road Traffic Management Corporation recently raised the alarm on KZN's statistics for drunk driving arrests.
It said the province was one of three sitting with high figures this festive season.

"To those who will be attending clubs please ensure that you don't drink and drive."
"It is advisable to have a designated driver, who will be sober.”
"Our road work plans are continuing in all regions, so be careful don't drink and drive."
Meanwhile motorists have been asked to be extra cautious, with traffic volumes set to rise on the N3 again.
The N3 Toll Concession says travel volumes are expected to start peaking from this afternoon.
