Memorial for Sindiso Magaqa to be held in KZN
Former ANC Youth League secretary general, Sindiso Magaqa will be remembered by friends, family and loved ones in Umzimkhulu, south of the province today.
The ward councillor was shot in a suspected ambush in July. He died in a Durban hospital earlier this month.
Police Minister Fikile Mbalula is among the dignitaries who're expected to attend the memorial today.
The minister will also visit Magaqa's family. At the time of his death, Magaqa had been serving as a councillor in the Umzimkhulu Local Municipality.

Two other councillors who were travelling in the vehicle with Magaqa when they came under heavy gunfire survived the shooting.
Magaqa's family are calling for justice. They believe he was gunned down in a politically motivated murder.
