Members facing charges are to step down: KZN ANC
Updated | By Bernadette Wicks
The KZN ANC has taken a decision to ask its public representatives who're facing serious criminal charges, to step aside from their positions.

It follows the arrests of local mayors and councillors over the past few days on charges related to the political killings in KwaZulu-Natal.
At a press briefing in Durban earlier - Provincial Secretary, Mdumiseni Ntuli said the Provincial Executive Committee took the decision at an extraordinary meeting last week.
But Ntuli says Harry Gwala mayor Mluleki Ndobe will remain in his position, following the State's decision to withdraw the murder charges against him yesterday.
Ndobe was arrested last weekend on suspicion of involvement in the 2017 murder of former ANC Youth League leader, Sindiso Magaqa.
Ntuli says Ndobe also remains number three on the party’s provincial list for the elections.
