Medics confirm baby unscathed in house fire near Toti

A 12-month-old baby girl has narrowly escaped a raging fire at her home in Malagazi near Amanzimtoti.
Firefighters found the house engulfed in flames earlier this afternoon.
They have managed the extinguish the blaze, which completely burnt down the entire house.

KZN EMS spokesperson, Rob Mckenzie says the little girl was came out the blaze without a mark.
"The child is in a stable condition and did not sustain any injuries. The house that caught alight was extensively damaged and all the rooms being consumed by the blaze. The roof also collapsed as a result of the fire. is not known and is being investigated by police," Mckenzie said.
