Co-operative Governance MEC, Nomusa Dube-Ncube says it is time to start seeing arrests and convictions for political killings in the province.

A number of politicians have been killed in the province since 2016. The latest killings happened on Saturday.
Chairperson of the NFP in the Okhahlamba region, Nkeni Mabaso was shot dead near Bergville on Saturday afternoon.
The ANC's Nkosikhona Maxhakaza was gunned down that evening outside his Rietvlei Umzimkhulu home, in the Harry Gwala District.

Addressing journalists in Durban today, Dube-Ncube said these attacks must come to an end.
"After so many people losing their lives, we do not still see proper arrests. We haven't even seen successful prosecutions because there might be other matters in court. We want to see people being put behind bars so that we put a stop to the killings of our people," she said.
