COGTA KZN is urging all municipalities in the province to draw up post-lockdown recovery plans in their respective jurisdictions.
Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs MEC Sipho Hlomuka says all 54 municipalities would need to follow a plan when things begin to return to normal for residents and businesses - and current restrictions are lifted.
COGTA spokesperson Senzelwe Mzila says for a COVID-19 free province, KZN needs well-functioning municipalities that stimulate local economies for the benefit of its people and business.
