Mbalula to conduct oversight visit at OR Tambo
Updated | By Newswatch
The Transport Minister is heading to OR Tambo International for an oversight visit on Monday.

This after a number of passengers were hit by flight delays last Wednesday.
Minister Fikile Mbalula says this was due to a technical fault at the airport's fuel storage facility.
The issues were resolved and travellers were able to fly to their destinations.

Mbalula says the problem was not caused by a fuel shortage that had been reported earlier, adding that the international airport has enough fuel for planes.
He says he will meet today with officials from Airports Company South Africa before a briefing with management on the measures taken to ensure there aren't similar issues going forward.
