Technical glitch causes delays in international, domestic flights at OR Tambo
Updated | By Mmangaliso Khumalo
The Airports Company South Africa (ACSA) has confirmed that the OR Tambo International Airport was experiencing challenges with fuel supply from the fuel storage facility to the main hydrant system on Wednesday morning.

"Technicians are on site and have resolved the issue, they are constantly monitoring the situation", says OR Tambo International Airport spokesperson Samukelo Khambule.
This comes as the refueling of aircrafts was impacted.
The airport has dismissed allegations of any fuel shortage.
"Please note that the airport does not have any fuel shortage and the above was a technical problem. OR Tambo Fuel Services Company (ORTAFS) used a manual system through fuel browsers to fuel aircrafts.
"We are currently experiencing delays with domestic departures as well international departures" adds Khambule.
