Matric learners ready for upcoming exams

With just two days to go until matrics sit for their final papers, some students say the pre-exam nerves are setting in.

Grade 12s will write their first big test, English paper 1, on Thursday, when the National Senior Certificate examinations kick-off.

Febile Khabanyane is one of more than a million pupils preparing for them.

The Northlands Girls High student says she's feeling very anxious, "We have not had enough time to be with their teachers and then understand the work that we have to learn for the finals."

"I'm looking forward to the English papers this coming Thursday and the Afrikaans on Friday. It's the language papers we can really go through and understand," she said.
