Mass murder suspect back in court for Colenso shooting

A man suspected of being involved in a deadly taxi-related shooting in Colenso - is due back in the dock on Thursday.
Mlungisi Hadebe was arrested last Tuesday after a lengthy investigation into the attack, that left 12 people dead and five others seriously hurt.
In 2018, a minibus transporting 17 people from a funeral to Johannesburg, was shot at over 200 times.

The first suspect, arrested last year, died in prison.
KZN police spokesperson Jay Naicker said: "A 25-year-old suspect appeared at the Weenen Magistrate’s Court on the 9 October and was remanded into custody until the 15 October where he will appear at the Colenso Magistrate Court.
'"He is accused of being involved in an incident where a taxi load of passengers were attacked on the R74."
