Second post-mortem ordered for Ulundi taxi driver
Updated | By Nomfundo Ngcobo
The Independent Police Investigative Directorate (IPID) says a second post-mortem will be carried out - as it continues to investigate the death of an Ulundi taxi driver.
Residents in Mbilane alleged Lindani Dludla was assaulted by SAPS members last week, a claim that sparked unrest in the northern KZN community.

The Directorate said on Wednesday that based on the results of the post-mortem, Dludla died of natural causes.
After meeting with local leaders in Ulundi, IPID's Ndileka Cola said that a second post-mortem would be conducted by a private pathologist.
"IPID continues on the other hand with a normal investigation process which includes acquiring relevant witnesses statements, getting technical reports and upon completion IPID sent a comprehensive report to the DPP for final decision.'
