Marshalltown fire claims another two lives

Health Minister Joe Phaahla says the death toll from the Johannesburg building fire has now risen to 76.

The blaze in Marshalltown in the CBD broke out on Thursday morning.

Many of the hijacked building's occupants escaped the flames by jumping out of windows.
Phaahla visited the Helen Joseph Hospital in Johannesburg on Friday - where some of the injured are being treated.
"The big problem of cause we are left with is the fact that we have got 76 fatalities out of which 74 were those who the reports have given from yesterday were demised on the premises and then two past away in hospital.
"The big issue now is identification. You would have heard already that out of the 74 only 12 have been identified."
