Decapitated teenage body found in northern KZN
Updated | By Sandile Zikhali
KZN police are asking for help in solving a murder case in northern KZN last week.

The decapitated body of a 15-year-old girl was found in Nongoma. Initial investigations resulted in two men being taken in for questioning - but officers say they were later released due to a lack of evidence linking them to the case.
It is believed the girl had left her home to visit relatives - but never returned. SAPS spokesperson - Thulani Zwane says the girl's head was found by someone walking by.
"It is alleged someone walking discovered the head of the teenage girl and reported the finding to police", he said.
"When police arrived they identified the body as that of a 15 year old female who had been reported missing in the area. She had left her house to visit a relative but did not make it to her destination", Zwane said.
