Manhunt for illegal arms traders in Verulam

KwaZulu-Natal police are trying to locate those responsible for illegally selling live ammunition in Verulam, north of Durban.
Authorities were called to Trenance Park on Monday night after a private security company recovered 1 850 rounds of live ammunition that were hidden in a bush.

The company says it was tipped off about an alleged arms sale on Cottonwood Drive.
During the search, officials found a 25-litre bucket filled with boxes of different types of 9mm, 40 calibre, rifle and shotgun ammunition.
