Manhunt for Umlazi cash heist gang

A police manhunt's underway for a cash heist gang that overpowered security guards servicing an ATM in Umlazi, south of Durban.
The guards were ambushed in W Section on Tuesday.
SAPS spokesperson Robert Netshiunda says the armed group arrived in two vehicles.
"The suspects allegedly started shooting at the cash truck and one security guard sustained multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to hospital for treatment."

"The suspects are reported to have robbed the guards of an undisclosed amount of money as well as two firearms.
"Cases of cash in transit robbery and attempted murder have been opened for investigation."
