Man succumbs to injuries following Kloof crash

A man has died after being hurt in a single vehicle crash on the M13 near Village Road in Kloof, west of Durban.
Emergency services found the badly damaged vehicle in the slow lane of the Durban-bound carriageway at about 10pm last night.

Multiple people were hurt and more ambulances were dispatched to assist.
A man in his fifties sustained critical injuries. Rescue Care says he was treated on scene before being taken to hospital.
A spokesperson says the man then went into cardiac arrest and died due to the severity of his injuries.

Five other people were taken to hospital with moderate injuries.
The cause of the crash is unknown.
