Four-year-old Durban boy crushed to death by garage door
A 4-year-old boy has been crushed to death by a garage door at his home in Montclair, south of Durban.
The exact details leading up to yesterday's tragedy are still unknown at this stage.
Netcare911 spokesperson, Shawn Herbst says advanced life support paramedics raced to the scene to assist.
"The child was assessed on scene and was found to have no signs of life," said Herbst.

Meanwhile, a 4-year-old boy is receiving treatment in hospital following
a near drowning incident on the KwaZulu-Natal north coast. IPSS Medical
Rescue and KwaDukuza lifeguards raced to the Salt Rock tidal pool
yesterday.
It is understood another swimmer saw the boy go beneath the water and managed to assist him.
In a separate incident south of Durban, a 16-year-old boy was rushed to hospital following another rescue -- this time at a pool in Amanzimtoti.
Netcare911 says the teen was found unresponsive by bathers yesterday afternoon.
Lifeguards were alerted and immediately initiated CPR.
