Man shot dead in e-hailing vehicle in Amanzimtoti

A man's body has been recovered from an e-hailing vehicle in Amanzimtoti, south of Durban.
Paramedics say the man, believed to have been in his 30s, was found in the front passenger seat and he appears to have been shot.
Emer-G-Med's Kyle van Reenen says they received reports on Friday morning that the vehicle had been obstructing Tacoma Road.

"On closer inspection, the vehicle was noted to have bullet holes and the occupant, a male approximately thirty years of age was found to have sustained fatal injuries and was declared dead on arrival of paramedics.
"The motive behind the shooting and the events preceeding it are unclear and will form the subject of a South African Police Services investigation."
