Man shot dead at popular Joburg restaurant

Police in Gauteng are investigating after a man was shot and killed at a popular restaurant in Johannesburg.
Medi Response's Paul Herbst says the shooting happened on Thursday in Rosebank, north of the city.
"Upon arrival of paramedics it was established that a single male had sustained gunshot wounds. The victim showed no sign of life and was declared deceased by paramedics."

"It is believed that the 42-year-old male was seated at a table in the restaurant when two males approached and allegedly shot the victim twice."
The motive is not known at this stage.
It is the second deadly shooting at a restaurant in as many weeks.
Last month, a patron at the Mugg and Bean at Christians Village Shopping Mall in Hillcrest, west of Durban was shot dead inside the establishment.

Police say the victim had got into an argument with a man he'd been sitting with at a table.
The suspect was arrested.
